Congressman Ted Poe; District Attorney, Pat Lykos; General Manager of Lone Star Chevrolet, Carolyn Cross; Greystar’s Managing Director, Doug Brown; and HPOU’s President, Ray Hunt are just a few of the hundreds that came out to help us celebrate and give tribute to our military on Armed Forces Day.

Doug Brown announced that the first residential unit that will house up to 8 men was proudly constructed in the loving memory of Clay Hunt, Sgt, USMC and all of our brave warriors that suffer from the deadliest wounds of war… PTSD.

Carolyn Cross announced that the first family residential unit will be paid for by Lone Star Chevrolet and is projected to be complete sometime this fall.

Everyone that came out to support the troops and took tours of the first residential building had a good time and ate some amazing BBQ! The PTSD Foundation would like to thank EVERYONE who made the Grand Opening of Camp Hope a very special and successful one!
