Events and Fundraisers

We cannot do this alone

Events and Fundraisers

We can provide combat Veterans and their families our program of services at no cost because of the passionate supporters and donors across the nation. Hosting a fundraising event will not only help raise money for our Veterans, but more importantly, you will be raising awareness for Veterans suffering from PTSD and helping us reach those that need us most. We cannot do this alone and appreciate every effort taken to help us with our mission.

If are holding an event and would like to request staff attendance, a speaker, or you would like to host a fundraising event, please complete the Third-Party Fundraiser Application so that we can help you get started!

Suicide Prevention Training

We offer courses through our chapter locations

Suicide Prevention Training

It is the mission of the PTSD Foundation of America to stop Veterans from taking their own lives. We are serious about making sure our staff is trained in suicide prevention. We have implemented a training program through LIVINGWORKS for our staff and volunteers. 95% of our staff are trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) with the goal of 100%. We believe in empowering our community to create a suicide-safer community. All of the ASIST classes we offer are open to the community, and we encourage them to join us in this worthwhile cause.

We offer courses through our chapter locations and will post the next available classes here. The next tentative date is October 12-13, 2023
