Events and Fundraisers
We can provide combat Veterans and their families our program of services at no cost because of the passionate supporters and donors across the nation. Hosting a fundraising event will not only help raise money for our Veterans, but more importantly, you will be raising awareness for Veterans suffering from PTSD and helping us reach those that need us most. We cannot do this alone and appreciate every effort taken to help us with our mission.
If are holding an event and would like to request staff attendance, a speaker, or you would like to host a fundraising event, please complete the Third-Party Fundraiser Application so that we can help you get started!

Suicide Prevention Training
It is the mission of the PTSD Foundation of America to stop Veterans from taking their own lives. We are serious about making sure our staff is trained in suicide prevention. We have implemented a training program through LIVINGWORKS for our staff and volunteers. At least 95% of foundation employees are trained and 15% have Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). We offer courses through our chapter locations and will post the next available classes here.
Our goal is to have 100% of our staff trained in these life assisting techniques.
